Who I am

I am an independent software engineer with more than thirty years of commercial development, and years of hobby work before anyone paid for it. I design, build, and operate production web applications — and the infrastructure under them — for a living. That is the only credential that matters here.

Software I have written has been used by Fortune 500 companies, in tech and far outside it; by non-profits and small businesses; and by government at every scale — local, state and provincial, and national. If you have reached this website, you have already interacted with an organization that ran something I built. That is not a guess.

I have contributed to well-known open source projects. The rest of the work sits in the unglamorous middle of software: cloud platforms, relational databases, high-traffic community sites, systems administration, and networking. Not demos. Not pitch decks. Services that stay up, stay fast, and stay out of the way.

I am experimenting with AI-assisted development. EveApps, the tools listed here, and the reworks still pending exist primarily for my own education and experience. I ship them because I use them. They are not a commercial product line, and they are not a bid for attention.

I keep this catalog anonymous because the apps should be judged on whether they are useful, not on who is running them. I am not a content creator, not a recruiter, and not a celebrity. I write software. If you came here looking for a face, a stream, or a corp ticker, you are in the wrong hangar.

My oldest character dates to 2013. I have not played continuously. I leave New Eden and I come back. The account is long. The attendance is not.

In all that time I spent about a year in a high-sec alliance, and much less than that in a null-sec one. Neither stuck. I keep returning to a solo and multibox playstyle, because that is how I actually fly.

The vast majority of my time has been in wormhole space. I have lost hundreds of billions of ISK there. I have been evicted many times. I have evicted others many times. I probably hold the record for the most self-destructed capital ships in the game. If I do not, I am easily in the top ten. Wormholes are not a theme. They are the log.

I first built apps for EVE to replace things that disappeared. EvePlanets is almost a direct rebuild of an old PI site that vanished. I hosted a public Pathfinder because others could no longer do it. Now I am going deeper — building the replacements instead of borrowing them.

I am not aligned with any alliance, coalition, or political bloc. The only corporation attached to this catalog is EveApps.App — created to hold the characters that operate these sites, and so that no one else could easily claim the name. I do not sit on diplos. I do not run propaganda. I do not operate these sites as an extension of anyone's war. Nullsec coalitions, faction warfare, wormhole power blocs, empire politics — none of them have a claim on this catalog, and none of them get a vote in how it is built.

EveApps is politically neutral infrastructure. Any capsuleer can use it. I will not pipe your maps, your PI, or your location data to a bloc. I will not sell your chain. I will not put a recruiter in the footer. If a tool needs a side in order to work, I will not build it.

I do not publish a character name or alliance ticker here. That is the point.
